I host this website with the following provider:

Vercel

Provider: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit this website, Vercel collects various log files including your IP address. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, efficient delivery of the site). A data processing agreement / addendum is in place with Vercel. Transfers to the USA may occur; Vercel relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

I take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat it confidentially in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

Please note that data transmission on the internet (e.g. communication by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar changing from “http://” to “https://”.

Storage period

4. Data collection on this website

Email contact

If you contact me by email, your details including the contact data you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for follow-up questions. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where related to a contract or pre-contractual measures; otherwise on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling the enquiry).

Server log files

The site provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits, including:

browser type and version
operating system used
referrer URL
hostname of the accessing computer
time of the server request
IP address

These data are not combined with other data sources.

Fonts

Fonts are bundled locally via Next.js and served from the same host as the website. No separate request is made to an external font CDN when the page loads.

Consent storage (local)

Your analytics choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage key mm-consent-v1). This is required to remember your decision and does not set tracking cookies. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in honouring your choice) and the equivalent exemption for strictly necessary storage under the ePrivacy rules.

Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights

If you consent via the banner, I use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (provider: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). This may process page views, referrers, device/browser information and performance metrics in pseudonymised form. According to the provider, no cookies are set; attribution uses server-side hashing. Processing takes place only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent the analytics scripts are not loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer and choosing “Decline”. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Using Vercel may involve transfers to the USA. Vercel provides appropriate safeguards (including Standard Contractual Clauses / a Data Processing Addendum).

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email, optional phone/subject/service, message) is transmitted to me to handle your enquiry. Delivery uses the email service Resend (Resend Inc., USA). A data processing agreement is or will be in place with Resend. Transfers to the USA may occur (appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is kept until your enquiry is resolved or longer retention is required by law.

5. External media / embeds / links

Live website previews

Services and project pages may offer live previews of third-party websites. The preview iframe loads only after you actively confirm (“Load preview”). Only then may your browser connect to the third party, which may set cookies or similar technologies. That third party is responsible for processing on the embedded site. You can also open the site via a normal link in a new tab.

This website includes links to WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms, Inc.). When you click, you leave my site and WhatsApp/Meta’s privacy terms apply. Visiting my site alone does not automatically transmit data to WhatsApp.

Sanity CMS (optional)
