Hi, I’m Mirko Meister, a Berlin-based photographer with a passion for capturing authentic moments—whether in sports, travel, or everyday life.
A glimpse of me
My journey into photography started in 2021 when I bought my first camera. Inspired by my dad’s longtime hobby, I began exploring the world through the lens. In 2022, I took my camera on a bike-packing trip to Dubrovnik, where I documented my journey and deepened my love for photography. Back in Berlin, I had the opportunity to shoot for the Berlin Braves, where I experimented with different settings and learned the dynamics of sports photography firsthand.
Since then, I’ve been continuously improving—learning through YouTube tutorials, advice from friends, and hands-on experience. I love capturing moments that tell a story, whether it’s the intensity of a game, the energy of a city, or the emotions of a portrait.
Beyond sports and event photography, I’m also exploring product photography and video storytelling through my ceramics project, refining my technical and creative skills along the way.
Born in 1993, I enjoy being active outdoors—cycling, hiking, and, of course, photographing moments in action. For me, photography is about freezing a moment in time and letting it speak for itself.
